Atlantic Records hired CREATL to embed with Wiz Khalifa for a full week in New York City. The assignment covered everything: branding shoots for upcoming releases, behind-the-scenes studio sessions, and documentary-style coverage of his time in the city. The goal was to capture Wiz authentically — not just polished press shots, but real moments.

The Creative Direction
Shooting a major artist on assignment for a label means being invisible enough to capture real moments but ready enough to nail the branding shots when called. The week moved fast — studio nights, daytime gigs, and everything in between. Every frame had to hold up both editorially and commercially.
